Kyle Shea lives to fish and loves to teach. So, naturally he became a fishing guide..
His desire to share the sport of fly fishing with others has driven him to work as a fly fishing guide from Maine to Alaska, where he has worked as the head guide for Alaska West, a remote tent lodge on the Kanektok River in Western Alaska.
Since 2013, he has rotated his time on the tundra with time on the flats, where he worked as a proud member of the management team for Andros South Bonefish Lodge, a premier bonefishing lodge in the Bahamas.
During his few hours off the water, Kyle has also worked as the content editor for Deneki Outdoor’s daily fly fishing blog where he was fortunate to exercise one of his true passions; creating unique, informative, and engaging fly fishing content through hundreds of published posts and articles. These experiences have since led him to new brand-building responsibilities as the marketing director for Bristol Adventures; the parent company of four premier fishing lodges in Bristol Bay, Alaska.
As an FFI Certified Casting Instructor, fly tying instructor, and fly designer, Kyle is on the never ending quest to grow as an angler, instructor, and content creator in hopes that he can bring value to as many anglers as possible.
